Didn't post last night because I was disappointed. I worked so hard to complete my clutch and I realized the directions were void of a valuable piece of info.

I was supposed to carry the design into the outer edges, not skip them.

So when I started sewing I have this stupid looking gap. Mom told me I could fix it, but I dint think it will work because the cording is super thick. Bah! I'll be starting over.

    Can't you sew them together, then using a contrasting cord, sew a piping around the blank edges?

    Uh. No. I mean I could, but I'd never be happy with it. I already started over. I've been known to throw entire projects away and that's what I did with the purse. No guilt. Just pissed it took the entire purse to realize the mistake.
