My new wreath!

Pushed forward and finished my winter wreath this evening instead of going to bed early! Glad I did! It's awesome!

A Girl Can Dream, Right?

Swerve Scarf

Found this new yarn from Red Heart called "Swerve." You actually don't knit or crochet it, you use your hands to create a chain and this is the result. I tied the ends together and made it into a cowl when I was finished. It doubled nicely and will be super duper warm! Can't wait to for Maya to see it--I think she will want one for herself and that means another trip to the craft store! Darn!

Today, I took an idea off of the blog "P.S. I Made It" and used up my old ribbon on a string of lights I had laying about. I cut the ribbons into 9" strips and tied them between the lights. Can't wait to actually have an extension cord that will reach to plug them in, but for now it looks like a really cool garland that matches the gray and green theme in my craft room. Love!

I've been missing for quite a long time. I've been busy with a new work assignment, getting married, and general laziness. I still craft/create every day, I just fail to document. My friend Haizle reminded me that I haven't updated in a while, so I'm going to try to do better. What you see here are 6 scarves I've made in the past 28 hours. Yes. Six. I did a craft show last week with mom and I didn't realize my stash was low until I registered to do a craft show next weekend I did an inventory and realized I only had 14 scarves. I'm trying to do 15 in 8 days and I'm doing pretty well. Fingers crossed!
