Tuesday is Now "Craft Day!"

Sitting at school today thinking about my socks I had to fix for what felt like the millionth time--it comes to me! I don't have to knit all the time.  Sure, I love to knit, but is also love to craft. So, Tuesday is an early day to,leave work and it is also the evening Andrew isn't home--why not designate it to crafting?

So, I came home and started sorting through my Whinseyboxes I haven't gotten to and a couple other crafts I wanted to try, but haven't yet.  I decided NOT to do macrame.  Seriously? I macrame'd in 1980. And I'm not hanging the thing on my wall.

Then I saw my white tiles I bought AGES ago at The Home Depot.  I pulled out my paint pens I bought at Christmas time and I primed those suckers!  Here's the coaster I made...  (I love dots!!)

And that was so stinking easy, I got out the stemless wine glasses is bought at Target and I did a glass to match the coaster!  So. Stinkin'. Awesome!

Then I think, "These would make cute things for the craft show!!"  But, I'm not quite convinced others will love them as much as me.

And then I picked a Whimseybox at random.  This is air drying clay I shaped into a bowl.  They gave me a doily to press I to the clay, but I used my own.  Rather abstract, but OK.  It is currently drying...

So, craft night was a success for me.   I feel renewed at finishing these projects.  Knitting takes so much time, but crafting gives quicker satisfaction.  Next week?  I'll surprise you!  I already have plans brewing!!
