Yarn Bomb

I've been reading a lot of articles and seeing a lot of pins about yarn bombing lately. And I've come to the following conclusion: it is not for me. I will never throw away my time, money, or yarn for an endeavor such as this. Maybe it is because I spend a lot of money on my yarn and its a quality product. I love my yarn too much to abandon it outside for the elements to wreak havoc on it. (I am also the person who shakes her head at electric pole monuments to dead people.) I prefer to make an awesome gift for a loved one and see them wear it. That's my idea of a yarn bomb. But, to yarn bomb? It would break my heart to see my hard work diminish over time or become the target of vandals. What are your thoughts?
