6/ 29&30 /12

On Friday I worked on a new ruffle scarf and today I puttered around. I finally got my hello kitty eggs hung up and I found new hello kitty duct tape! Yay!!! Tomorrow, perhaps, I'll actually do something but it is so so so hot and I hate heat.

I was mandated to be on the leadership team and we were in training for 3 days. That's why the posts were missing!

Here's the scarf I worked on Wednesday and finished on Thursday. Nothing else got done.

Finished my Sashay Conga scarf, started my granny stripe iPad cover and completed two bowls in the correct colors. Also made 5 more ric rac rings (not pictured) in black, brown, pink, purple, and copper. Yay Tuesday!

Origami Star Lantern! It was irritating, but awesome! And then I knitted to calm my origami nerves.

Started my nesting bowl "copycats" today. The top picture is the listing from Etsy. The bottom two are my attempts at getting the right colors. I know the mistakes I made, will (maybe) start over tomorrow. (Instead of using two variegated I was supposed to use a solid AND a variegated.)

Here's the two photos I used to try to create my own designs. The chain necklace from today and the button bracelet from last week. All with modifications. I am, however going to add different size chain to the necklace to give it some more depth. Was thrilled to see Pat Catan's has an entire end cap devoted to ball chain jewelry. Going back this week!

Easy craft day. Started the final Twist n Twirl scarf, copied this necklace from pinterest, made another duct tape wallet, and assembled my drink umbrella wreath. (bad picture, though)

Finished an evil Twist and Twirl scarf today. Only one more to do and then I'll switch back to Sashay. Found two more new colors of it yesterday!! Also finished all my little notebooks today

Finished one of each ric rac ring today and decided to also create mini note pads out of paint chip sample cards. They fold up like match books and will make cute little gifts with a purchase at a craft fair.

Yay! I finally sat down to start making my rick rack rings today. I have 9 more to go before I have to buy more ring blanks. Each one is so cute! Tomorrow summer colors!!

Had a busy day trying to track down various city workers and trying to get help with some problems in the neighborhood. Also had a Dr appt and breakfast with Ms. Lisa. So, sadly, this is all I got finished. My rick rack rose ring. A little large, but a work in progress. And cute!!

Home in CLE, after a lovely drive through an evil storm. I arrived to a box of beautiful yarn! I worked a bit on my granny square phone cozy and laid around smooching my pups. The bottom picture is the start of my rick-rack flower ring. Tomorrow I will show you it's loveliness!

6/17/12 (Father's Day)

Much better day! Spent it relaxing with my parents and getting some creative mojo back. Here's the small granny square I made with my new yarn from Friday. When it's done it will be an iPhone case. (pinterest!) and I finished the mambo? scarf, as well. I even performed small liturgical dance with it for dad! Yay celexa!

This was me on Saturday. I was a honey badger. Meds are back in place and my cousins wedding is over. I am over the "I'm wearing a dress and my mom isn't" thing. For now. No crafting on Saturday because I spent the majority of it in transit.

I had a busy few days, so here comes my catch up posts. On Friday, I didn't get much done other than meeting friends for breakfast, finishing laundry and stopping by Michael's and finding the perfect yarn for a couple of pinterest projects. This little kitty is what I looked like after my Friday.

Today, I went to Columbus with Lisa for a job interview and an afternoon with my parents. A little creativity here and there today, but basically a day to connect. I did manage to finish that scarf I had to redo after it unraveled and I picked up some craft supplies at Hobby Lobby. Tomorrow, I may get into more crafts....

Random Craft Day: made this crochet thread cuff from Crochet Today! Magazine (Julie Cuff) and i tried the origami ring at the bottom from Zakka Life crafts blog. (I love origami, but seem to always have trouble with getting ends to meet exactly.)

I finished the Starbella scarf in rainbow colors. Very nice!

Ideas and new yarn colors!

My favorite yarn came out with three new colors. Yay! Tweed Stripes! I think I need all three. But I don't know why...

And the bottom pic is tomorrow's bracelet design. The hearts don't work out right in the graph. Oh well.
